Material certificate
Available when material traceability matters and the requested grade can be sourced with paperwork.
Finish and packing proof
Photos of cosmetic surfaces, color samples, masking, protective packing, labels, and export carton condition.

CMM may not be necessary when
The prototype is an early cosmetic model, a loose-fit enclosure, or a concept sample where photos and key manual checks are enough for the buyer decision.
FAI is useful when
The first article controls a drawing revision, small-batch launch, supplier validation, or inspection plan before additional parts are released.
Material traceability matters when
The buyer must confirm alloy, resin grade, heat treatment, batch identity, or compliance paperwork before approval or shipment.

Can every order include CMM or FAI reports?
No. CMM and FAI reports should be agreed during RFQ because they affect inspection time, cost, and schedule.
Can I request proof before shipping?
Yes. For suitable projects, DFocus can share production photos, finish photos, key measurement evidence, and packing photos before shipment.
What should I send for a faster quote?
Send CAD files, 2D drawings for critical tolerances, material, quantity, finish, inspection needs, shipping country, target deadline, and NDA requirements.

DFocus does not treat every project as certification-backed by default. Inspection reports, material certificates, COC, FAI/CMM records, finish samples, packing photos, and export handoff evidence must be agreed during RFQ and quoted with the required scope.
What this means
Your quote can define the evidence package needed before shipment, including dimensional checks, material traceability, process photos, and packing proof.
What this does not mean
A public page statement is not a certificate, regulated-device approval, or blanket system-certification guarantee. Certified entity, certificate number, scope, and expiry must be shown before a certification claim is used.
