Sheet Metal FAQ
What file formats do you accept?
We accept STEP, STP, IGES, DXF, DWG, and PDF with dimensions. For flat patterns, DXF is preferred. STEP/STP is recommended for 3D parts with bend information.
What is the minimum bend radius?
Minimum inside bend radius is typically equal to the material thickness. For example, 1mm sheet should have minimum 1mm inside radius. Sharper bends may cause cracking.
What is your typical lead time?
Standard lead time is 5-10 business days depending on complexity and quantity. Expedited service (3 days) is available for urgent projects at additional cost.
Do you offer design assistance?
Yes! Our engineers can review your design for manufacturability (DFM) and suggest optimizations to reduce cost and improve quality. This service is free for qualified projects.
